Şişecam Continues to Preserve Atatürk's Memorabilia

Şişecam replaced the display case glass of the gun carriage carrying Atatürk's casket displayed at Anıtkabir and the tour boat he used on Çubuk Dam Lake.
Şişecam, with a mission to preserve the memories of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, renewed the display case glass of two important historical artifacts displayed at Anıtkabir: the gun carriage that carried Atatürk's casket and the tour boat he used on Çubuk Dam Lake.
Şişecam, which also carried out the replacement of the display case glass for Atatürk's restored official vehicles and the tower glass of Anıtkabir in the previous year, began operations on 29 November 1935 with 400 employees as an important output of the First Five-Year Industrial Plan with the aim of establishing a national glass industry and freeing the country from external dependence in this field.
Among the first and most important representatives of our Republic's industry-based development initiatives in line with Atatürk's vision, Şişecam operates today as a global force in the field of glass and chemicals, and proudly continues its mission to keep Atatürk's legacy alive and pass it on to future generations.
