Şişecam Launches ‘Women Advancing to the Future’ Programme in Its 90th Year
Şişecam is marking the 90th anniversary of its founding with a meaningful social responsibility project. Taking action to support young women's career and personal development journeys, Şişecam will contribute to the development of 900 women in 9 provinces through its training and development program called "Geleceğe İlerleyen Kadınlar" (Women Advancing Toward the Future).

Taking action to support young women's career and personal development journeys, Şişecam will contribute to the development of 900 women across 9 provinces through its education and development programme called 'Women Advancing to the Future'.
Since its establishment, Şişecam has supported women's presence in the workforce across all areas, from manufacturing to R&D, from sales and marketing to information technology. In its 90th year of progress, the company is celebrating this milestone with a meaningful corporate social responsibility project that will contribute to social development. On its 90th anniversary, Şişecam is launching the "Women Advancing to the Future" programme, which supports young women in fulfilling their potential and advocates for gender equality. The company aims to accompany 900 young women living in 9 provinces where it operates across Turkey throughout their individual and professional development journey. Implemented in partnership with Turkishe and shaped around technology, innovation and leadership, applications for the programme will continue until 7 September 2025.
An Inspiring Development Journey
Young women aged 18-25 who are university students or recent graduates living in Istanbul, Kocaeli, Mersin, Eskişehir, Bursa, Kırklareli, Ankara, Balıkesir and Denizli can apply for the "Women Advancing to the Future" programme, which offers participants a comprehensive development journey ranging from STEM and artificial intelligence training to self-awareness workshops, mentoring and role model meetings, and project development marathons. Throughout the programme, Şişecam leaders and subject matter experts will guide young women and support them in turning their dreams into reality.
Throughout its 90-year journey of progress, Şişecam believes that gender equality can be achieved by considering it in all areas of society. Through this programme, the company aims to pass on these same values to women. The 'Women Advancing to the Future' programme, which creates a strong foundation for young women to discover their own potential and become inspiring leaders of the future, will enable participants not only to gain knowledge and skills but also to create impact through projects that contribute to society.
The 'Women Advancing to the Future' programme, where gender equality, women's development and scientific thinking form core values and where participants can share their experiences and learn from one another, will run trainings between September 2025 and February 2026. Following completion of the trainings, participants will graduate from the programme in March 2026.
