Industry Professionals Gather at Kimsel's Invitation

Industry Professionals Convened at Kimsel Gathering Kimsel Kimya held a seminar and reception on Thursday, 29 September, bringing together numerous industry professionals. Kimsel Kimya organized a technical seminar on Thursday, 29 September at Büyük Kulüp where Evonik products were presented. Following this seminar, a dinner reception was held under the name 'Traditional Kimsel Evening'. The dinner reception was attended by Kimsel Kimya and Evonik Turkey and global employees, as well as leading companies from the sector.

Evonik Paint Additives Product Group Introduced

The technical seminar began at 13:00 on Thursday with the presentation of Evonik's Paint Additives Product Group. Authorized representatives from Evonik delivered presentations during the seminar. The seminar started with a presentation by Business Development Manager Selin Çince. In her presentation, Çince introduced the company by discussing Evonik's 2022 revenue and organizational structure. Following Çince, Joachim Diem, Vice President of the EMEA Region, presented the Paint Additives Product Group. In his presentation, Diem stated that Turkey is an important market for Evonik and that they work with over 300 companies in Turkey.         Following Diem, Senior Technical Manager Alptekin Akgümüş responsible for the Paint Additives Division Middle East and Turkey, EMEA Technical Manager Jonas Berg, and Senior Manager Emre Önç responsible for the Cross-Linking Business Unit delivered presentations. The seminar concluded with a technical presentation by Application Laboratory Technical Manager Dirk Fuchsmann.

150 Representatives from Nearly 80 Companies Attended Reception

Following the seminar, a dinner reception was held with the attendance of senior executives. Guests were welcomed at the dinner reception by Kürşat Balcıoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Kimsel Kimya. The reception was attended by 150 people from nearly 80 companies.   From Evonik, Deputy General Manager Oktay Aşkın, Vice President of the EMEA Region Joachim Diem, Director of the MEA Region Mohamed Aish, Head of EMEA Coatings Additives Division Nadia Lenhardt and Technical Manager of EMEA Decorative Division Ellen Reuter attended the reception. At the reception, Evonik Deputy General Manager Oktay Aşkın and Kimsel Kimya Sales Manager Burcu Gürsoy delivered speeches. In his speech, Aşkın noted that business cooperation with Kimsel Kimya would continue to increase and announced that the distributorship of all Turkish Republics, Georgia and Armenia region has also been awarded to Kimsel Kimya.
