Schneider Electric introduces revolutionary new circuit breaker MasterPacT MTZ Active at events in 5 cities.

The product control unit, featuring an industry-first QR code solution, enables root cause identification of delays and issues, optimizing decision-making processes and increasing efficiency in mission-critical industries including data centre operators.

Schneider Electric, a leader in digital transformation of energy management and automation, conducted the launch of MasterPacT MTZ Active in Istanbul, Bursa, Ankara, Adana and Izmir, setting new standards for efficiency and sustainability. The product introduction meeting held in Istanbul was attended by approximately 300 business partners of Schneider Electric from different cities.

With a total of 1,200 participants at the MasterPacT MTZ Active launch across 5 cities, the starting point was the expectation that data centres are growing at a rapid rate of 12% annually and are expected to generate USD 85 billion in revenue in 2024, while this positive expectation also indicates that data centre resilience is one of the areas the sector needs to develop.

Gartner experts estimate that data centre downtime can cost businesses up to USD 300,000 per hour. For this reason, the business imperative to invest in innovation and technology to ensure data centre resilience has never been stronger.

The control unit of the new MasterPacT MTZ Active accelerates response times with an industry-first QR code solution. Noting that data centre operators can identify the root cause of inefficiencies by scanning the code and optimize the decision-making process regarding the most effective corrective actions to reduce data centre downtime, Çapan said, "There is no need to waste time in a 200-page document. In an overload situation, you are quickly informed that you need to distribute loads more evenly between circuits."

MasterPacT MTZ Active also sets new standards for safety in data centres. "Energy Reduction Maintenance Setting (ERMS) protects maintenance personnel against arc flash hazards, and the intuitive design of the control unit simplifies the setting of all protection functions including current time delays and alarms.
