Export Contribution Target from SANKON to Africa and Turkic States

The Industrialists Business Women and Businessmen Confederation SANKON announced its goal to contribute 10 billion dollars each to exports to Africa and Turkic states in 2022. If SANKON achieves this goal, it will make a significant contribution to export relations. SANKON Targets 10 Billion Dollar Export Contribution Each

SANKON aims to contribute 10 billion dollars each to exports to Africa and Turkic states. Cemil Sedefoğlu, Deputy Chairman of SANKON, made statements on this matter. Sedefoğlu said: "SANKON will hold trade and business forum conferences in 2022 to contribute to economic, commercial, import and export relations between Turkey and the 54 states on the African continent, with the support and contributions of the Republic of Turkey and in cooperation with the Embassies of African States in Ankara."

Operating in 54 African States Since 2017

Sedefoğlu noted that since 2017, they have been conducting activities in 54 African states including Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mayotte, Mozambique, Reunion, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Angola, Cameroon, Central Africa, Chad, Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Sao Tome and Principe, Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, Western Sahara, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde Islands, Côte d'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Saint Helena, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.

Conveyed Goal to Make Exports and Investments in All Sectors

İsa Güngör, Deputy Chairman of SANKON, also made a written statement on the matter. Güngör conveyed that they aim to make exports and investments in all sectors to Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Georgia in 2022. In his statement, Güngör said: "SANKON, with the support and contributions of the Government of the Republic of Turkey, will hold business forum conferences in cooperation with the Embassies in Ankara of the aforementioned states in order to contribute to economic, commercial, import and export relations between the Republic of Turkey and other Turkic States."
