Industrial Production Index Announced

Turkey's Statistical Institute (TÜİK) released industrial production index results for December 2023. According to data shared by TÜİK, Turkey's industrial production increased by 1.6% in 2023. The industrial production index rose by 2.4% on a monthly basis in December.

Manufacturing sector index increased by 2.9%

When examining sub-sectors of industry, the mining and quarrying sector index declined by 0.7% compared to the previous month in December 2023. The manufacturing sector index increased by 2.9%, while the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning production and distribution sector index showed a 0.1% decline.
