Industry-Technology Integration Program Launching

The STEP (Industry-Technology Integration Program) event of the TÜSİAD SD² (Digital Transformation in Industry) Program, which has been running for three years, will be held online on Tuesday, 27 October at 09:00 with the participation of Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Fatih Kacır. Since 2020, the TÜSİAD SD² Program has created a broad ecosystem through its platform, which includes over 2,200 technology users participating in the program, as well as approximately 1,600 registered technology suppliers. This year, nine digital transformation calls were opened, and a total of 195 solution proposals were received at a higher rate than in previous periods. Technology suppliers that have passed the preliminary evaluation will come together with technology users, various experts and important ecosystem actors at STEP 2020. In the opening section of the event, TÜSİAD SD² Task Force Chair Perihan İnci will share the stage the program has reached in three years since its launch in 2018 and the experience gained, while TÜSİAD Vice President and Chair of the Industry Policies Round Table Bahadır Balkır will present TÜSİAD's perspective on digital transformation within the framework of industrial policies and its work. In the opening session where TÜSİAD Board Chair Simone Kaslowski will convey the digitalization dynamics of the new era and the future model of the TÜSİAD SD² Program, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Fatih Kacır will deliver the opening speech on the place of digital transformation in Turkey's industrial policy and the perspective of public support in this field. Throughout the day, expert speakers and panelists will participate, and technology suppliers will have the opportunity for rapid networking.
