New Era at the Sabri Ülker Foundation: Global Vision Strengthened
The Sabri Ülker Foundation, which aims to bring scientific knowledge in food and nutrition to the public, has strengthened its globalization vision with a new structure. While Yahya Ülker has taken over as chairman of the foundation, two prominent names from the international scientific community have also joined its Scientific Board.

Yahya Ülker has taken on the role of Foundation President, while two important figures from the international scientific community have joined the Scientific Board.
The Sabri Ülker Foundation, which aims to bring scientific knowledge in nutrition, food and public health closer to society, is reinforcing its global vision through its new organizational structure. Under this framework, Yahya Ülker, Vice Chairman of the Board of Management of Yıldız Holding, will serve as Foundation President. With the new structure, Dr. Talat İçöz has taken on the role of Vice Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Management. The Board of Management, in which Begüm Mutuş will serve as General Secretary and Management Board Member responsible for Operations, will also include Meryem Ülker Küçükaşçı, İbrahim Taşkın and Murat Ülker as other members.
The Scientific Board structure strengthened with globalization vision
In the new period, the Sabri Ülker Scientific Board, which includes distinguished national and international scientists from different fields of expertise, will continue its work with a structure reflecting the Foundation's vision of creating a multi-hub and dynamic global impact network. With this goal in mind, following the inclusion of Prof. Dr. Burcu Özsoy, President of TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center, to the Scientific Board in October 2025, Prof. Dr. Renger F. Witkamp, Chair of Nutrition Biology at Wageningen University, and Prof. Dr. Ayesha Al Dhaheri, Vice Dean and Chair of the Nutrition and Health Department at UAE University, will also serve in the new period.
Current members of the Scientific Board Prof. Dr. Nur Baran Aksakal, Dr. Laura Fernandez Celemin, Prof. Dr. Zehra Büyüktuncer Demirel, Prof. Dr. Hünkar Korkmaz, Prof. Dr. Burcu Özsoy, Dr. Zeki Ziya Sözen, Dr. Julian Stowell and Prof. Dr. Serhat Ünal will continue their work to develop, plan and implement all programs and projects of the Foundation.
