REHAU's GENEO Modern Architectural Windows Named Product of the Year

REHAU's GENEO fiber-reinforced windows, developed for modern architecture, have been selected as Product of the Year by Callwey Architekturverlag, a respected architecture publishing group. REHAU's GENEO windows combine sustainable material use, superior energy efficiency and maximum design freedom for architects. A respected jury panel from the architecture and media sectors selected REHAU's GENEO window system as the winner of Callwey's "New Products of the Year" award in the "Windows" category. REHAU has produced more than 50,000 kilometers of high-tech fiber composite window profiles over the last 10 years. The new generation of the GENEO system was introduced to the market this year. This innovation carries the properties of the latest advanced version of REHAU's RAU-FIPRO X material and makes the system better than before. Unlimited Possibilities for Architects: REHAU's GENEO

In the window profile system, the patented RAU-FIPRO X profile core is combined with an optimized profile design that provides maximum stability without requiring steel reinforcement and an internally integrated (IVS) reinforcement system. This means the absence of thermal bridges and allows GENEO to achieve a U value down to 0.79 W/m²K, reducing energy consumption by up to 76 percent. REHAU's KALEIDO COLOR creative product range offers more than 400 designs, providing architects with greater freedom in creating perfect windows. Designers can combine aluminum cladding with a profile from the KALEIDO WOODEC series to give their windows an elegant look with a mixture of aluminum and wood effects. KALEIDO WOODEC looks and feels like wood while being durable and low-maintenance. The GENEO system can easily integrate a range of intelligent REHAU solutions, including Smart Guard security technology and the INOVENT intelligent ventilation system. The high-tech RAU-FIPRO material helps REHAU play a role in sustainable construction from its initial production. As part of the ECO PULS recycling program, profile sections made from RAU-FIPRO and second-hand windows are recovered, enabling the reprocessing and reuse of fiber-reinforced plastic window profiles.
