Kastamonu Entegre, the global brand of the wood-based panel sector, has garnered a new award for its pioneering approach to environment-friendly and sustainable material innovation. PureBoard, developed by the company with an innovation approach focused on environment and human health, won first place in the "Eco-Friendly Product" category at the ISO Green Transformation Awards 2025.

The award was presented to Talha Aydın, Global Sales and Marketing Director of Kastamonu Entegre, at a ceremony held on 24 December. PureBoard was evaluated as a strong example of sustainable and environment-friendly production through its manufacture with 100 percent bio-based adhesives, formaldehyde-free (NAF) composition and low emission values.

Interdisciplinary evaluation from academia to industry
The ISO Green Transformation Awards, brought to life by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, focus on products and applications that make visible the green transformation impact at every stage of production in a new era where industry is evolving toward a greener, more circular and more digital structure. Organized since 1995 and evaluated by a multidisciplinary jury composed of academics, researchers specializing in environment and energy, public institutions and professionals working in finance, technology and sustainability, the program is positioned as a prestigious award program aimed at supporting industrial organizations that transform the green transformation vision into concrete outputs.
