Premiership, EFL and SPFL Clubs Continue to Use Fibresand and Fibre-Reinforced Root Zones
Mansfield Sand Limited's sports sand and root zones are being reinforced with polypropylene straight fibres from Beaulieu Fibers International. The technology is used by numerous clubs in the Premier League, EFL (English Football League) and Scottish Professional Football League to maintain the performance of natural grass pitches. The fibre and reinforced root zones are manufactured in England by Mansfield, the originator and innovator of the product.
Fibresand and Reinforced Rootzones is a natural sports product reinforced with Beaulieu's PP straight fibre, distributed in England by James Robinson Fibres. Used in the top 100 mm within the pitch construction profile, it develops the natural grass root structure while providing greater stability and flexibility to pitches.
Jefrem Jennard, Industrial Fibre Sales Director at Beaulieu Fibers International, said: "At a time when the Premier League continues to draw spectators and dominate Europe's major football competitions, Fibre-Reinforced Root Zones using our PP straight fibre continue to deliver results.
This is proven technology that improves the quality of natural grass surfaces and enables clubs to continue delivering superior performance in natural grass pitch play at every match. While addressing the question of enhanced durability, Fibresand products combine the feel and performance that natural grass provides, offering an alternative option to synthetic grass use. Its proven performance means it is here as a permanent technology," he said.
