Polisan Kansai Adds Color to the 17th Istanbul Biennial

Polisan Kansai Boya colored the event spaces of the 17th Istanbul Biennial, which will take place between 17 September – 20 November 2022. The 17th Istanbul Biennial, curated by Ute Meta Bauer, Amar Kanwar and David Teh, will be held between 17 September – 20 November 2022. Works by participants from different regions of the world will be exhibited; extending beyond traditional art spaces, the biennial will be spread across dozens of different venues including bookstores, antiquarian booksellers, hospitals, nursing homes, cafes and metro stations. The biennial will also feature a calligraphy and bookbinding workshop, a bathhouse dating back to the fifteenth century, a Greek school that has not been in use for over twenty years, and an art space established by migrant artists among its venues. Polisan Kansai Boya, which has been the "Paint Sponsor" of the Istanbul Biennial during the 10-year period between 2015-2024, supported the event spaces in having a more vibrant appearance this year as well, coloring 7,000 square meters across 7 venues. Within the scope of sponsorship, the exhibition spaces of the biennial – Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation Pera Museum, Merkez Rum Kız Lisesi, Performistanbul Contemporary Art Research Space (PCSAA), Büyükdere 35, Müze Gazhane, Barın Han and Küçük Mustafa Paşa Hamamı – along with exhibition furnishings were given a vibrant appearance with Polisan Kansai's high-performance, environmentally-conscious paints. Polisan Kansai Boya, which raises brand value through high-performance, innovative and environmentally-conscious products while maintaining continuous support for the arts, added color to the biennial's exhibition spaces with its Elegans ExtraYarı Mat interior wall paint.
