Pierre Fabre Group Celebrates Its 60th Anniversary

Pierre Fabre Group Marks 60th Anniversary Pharmaceutical and dermocosmetic company Pierre Fabre, which began in 1962 as a small pharmacy with the motto "wellness for all," proudly celebrated the 60th anniversary of its innovation-filled journey at an event held on 29 September at Esma Sultan Yalısı. The event, hosted by Pierre Fabre Turkey, brought together more than 200 doctors and pharmacists, as well as Pierre Fabre Group CEO Eric Ducournao and Hervé MAGRO, Ambassador of France to the Republic of Turkey.

At the evening, which began with the telling of Pierre Fabre's success story, Pierre Fabre Group CEO Eric Ducournao, who came to Turkey for the 60th anniversary celebration, said the following:

"We take pride in the history of our Group, enriched by the humanist values instilled by Pierre Fabre. He was a visionary who understood, far ahead of his time, that there could be no meaningful progress without respect for nature and humanity. Today, Pierre Fabre is the world's 2nd largest dermocosmetic laboratory, the 2nd largest private French pharmaceutical group, and a market leader among over-the-counter products in French pharmacies. As a reflection of our philosophy and mission, this year we celebrate 60 years of partnership and trust. At Pierre Fabre, we have always dedicated ourselves to our work, and I believe this commitment will continue as long as our company exists. The 9,500 employees of Pierre Fabre Group take pride and joy in serving all of you and nature."  

Pierre Fabre Turkey General Manager Dr. Hande Demirdere spoke about the event as follows:

"At this meaningful evening, we celebrate the 60th anniversary of our Pierre Fabre, a 'Foundation Company' that, since 1962, has remained true to its roots and carried out important work with a broad product range spanning from oncology to dermocosmetics, and has also crowned a significant portion of its profits with social responsibility projects. We are proud to be part of this success, which has reached these achievements with 60 years of pharmaceutical expertise and the visionary perspective of Monsieur Pierre Fabre. As Pierre Fabre, we attach great importance to the future, and we will continue our projects and work with the aim of reaching more people and touching nature further, following in the footsteps of our founder."   Accompanied by the Istanbul Symphony Orchestra, Pierre Fabre's mission and its journey from past to present were conveyed through a presentation prepared based on 4 elements, which this time offered guests an audiovisual experience. Following that, a short video screening was presented as part of the "Yeşilçam Nature and Children's Film Festival," organized by Pierre Fabre Turkey in Mardin to instill nature awareness and love in children. Letters written by children living in Mardin expressing their feelings were distributed to guests. At an evening filled with emotional moments, musician and actor Yıldız Asyalı provided guests with enjoyable minutes with her special performance. The celebration evening concluded with a dance show by the Soul of Dance team, which took the stage as a surprise, followed by DJ music.
