Petrol Ofisi Appoints Three New Directors

Petrol Ofisi, the leader in Turkey's fuel and mineral oils sector, has appointed Yiğit Meral to the position of Retail Director, with Ulvi Kılıç taking on the role of Commercial and Industrial Sales Director and Sezgin Gürsu assuming the position of Mineral Oils Director.

Petrol Ofisi, Turkey's largest fuel company and a leading brand in the mineral oils and chemicals market, has made three directorial appointments. Yiğit Meral, an experienced name in the fuel sector, joined the Petrol Ofisi family and took up the position of Retail Director as of 1 April. As of 1 April at Petrol Ofisi, following the separation of the Commercial Sales and Mineral Oils division into two distinct directorial positions, both positions were filled by experienced names from the sector and Petrol Ofisi.

Ulvi Kılıç, who has held important positions at Petrol Ofisi since 2012, took on the role of Commercial and Industrial Sales Director. Mineral Oils Director position was given to Sezgin Gürsu, who has successfully pursued his career at Petrol Ofisi since 2007.Sezgin Gürsu

Sezgin Gürsu, a graduate of Istanbul Boys' High School, completed his undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at Boğaziçi University and his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at University of Miami in the United States. Gürsu began his professional career in 1989 as a Research Fellow at the Clean Energy Research Institute at University of Miami, and in 1991 took on a Project Engineer position at Koç Holding Procurement Coordination Group. Sezgin Gürsu held various management positions within Mobil Oil Turkey, which he joined in 1992. In 2008, Gürsu joined the Petrol Ofisi family as Mineral Oils Group Manager, and subsequently held the positions of Mineral Oils and Commercial Sales Director and Retail Director. Sezgin Gürsu was appointed to the position of Petrol Ofisi Mineral Oils Director as of 1 April 2018.

Ulvi Kılıç

Ulvi Kılıç, a graduate of Istanbul Boys' High School who completed his undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at ITU, began his career in 1998 as a Sales Engineer at Borusan Makine ve Güç Sistemleri. Kılıç joined ExxonMobil Turkey in 2001 and subsequently held various management positions following field engineering roles. Ulvi Kılıç joined the Petrol Ofisi family in 2012 as Mineral Oils Group Manager and most recently served as Commercial Sales and Mineral Oils Director. Ulvi Kılıç was appointed to the position of Petrol Ofisi Commercial and Industrial Sales Director as of 1 April 2018.

Yiğit Meral

Yiğit Meral, a graduate of Ankara Yükseliş Koleji and ODTÜ Geology Engineering Department who completed the Marketing Program at Kellogg School of Management in the United States, began his career in 1994 as a trainer at Başkent University. Meral subsequently held the position of Export Responsibility at Hora Dış Ticaret and later worked as a Production Control Engineer in China at Mogan Household Appliances. Yiğit Meral then joined BP Turkey in 1998 as a Field Manager, and after holding various management positions, served as Fuel Sales Director and most recently as Fuel Investment Director. Yiğit Meral was appointed to the position of Petrol Ofisi Retail Director as of 1 April 2018.
