Parsan Wins Export Leader Award

At the "Export Leaders Awards Ceremony" organized by Gebze Chamber of Commerce, Parsan Makine Parçaları Sanayii A.Ş., one of 63 companies that made it onto TİM's list of the top 1,000 exporters, received a plaque. Speaking at the ceremony, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat noted that Kocaeli achieved 12.5% of Turkey's exports with USD 35 billion in exports, emphasizing that the province contributed significantly to the treasury with TRY 1 trillion in tax revenue last year. 

The "Export Leaders Awards Ceremony" organized by Gebze Chamber of Commerce took place at Gebze Technical University Congress Center. The 63 member companies of Gebze Chamber of Commerce listed in the "Top 1,000 Exporters" announced by Turkey's Exporters Assembly received their awards at the ceremony. Companies that stood out with their contributions to Turkey's economy and export success were honored with plaques on the evening. Akın Gözü, Sales and Marketing Manager of PARSAN, accepted the Export Leaders Award on behalf of the company.

"Kocaeli delivered TRY 1 trillion to the treasury's coffers in tax revenue"
Trade Minister Ömer Bolat, noting that Kocaeli's total of USD 35 billion in exports constitutes 12.5% of Turkey's merchandise exports, stated: "Kocaeli is our country's second export star after Istanbul. Last year with USD 273.5 billion in merchandise exports, we achieved a 4.4% increase in Turkey and net exports increased by USD 11.7 billion. In merchandise exports, 33 of our provinces surpassed the USD 1 billion threshold. 46 of our provinces showed growth in their exports last year. Last year, out of approximately TRY 10 trillion in tax revenue, Kocaeli delivered TRY 1 trillion to the treasury's coffers."

Stating that exports can be sustained through public-private cooperation despite challenging global conditions, Gebze Chamber of Commerce Board Chairman Abdurrahman Aslantaş said: "Our 63 member companies, which are export leaders, achieved combined exports of USD 10 billion 497 million, making a highly valuable contribution to both our region's and our country's economic strength. Behind this success lies a significant role played by strong export-focused policies, applied support mechanisms, and decisive vision. Thanks to this vision, our exporters are reaching a more competitive, more resilient, and stronger position in global markets."
