  paintistanbul & Turkcoat Congress Opens with Record Attendance The 9th International paintistanbul & Turkcoat Congress and Exhibition, a meeting point for paints and coating raw materials manufacturers and academics, opened today at Green Park Hotel Pendik. Organized by the Paint Manufacturers Association (Bosad) under the management of Chem Media, the congress attracted strong interest from the sector on its first day. At the congress opening program; ISO President Erdal Bahçıvan, Tim Vice President and İKMİB Chairman Adil Pelister, TOBB Chemistry Board Chairman Timur Erk, Bosad Management Board Chairman Kenan Baytaş, Bosad Vice Chairman and Fair and Congress Working Group Chairman Hakan Ünel, Bosad Scientific Board Member Ahmet Burhan Özdemir, and Artkim Group Founder and CEO Cengiz Yaman delivered opening remarks. Following the speeches, the congress began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. First Day Features Two Keynote Speeches, Six Sessions and Four Commercial Presentations The program, organized in two halls at Green Park Pendik Hotel as Turkcoat and paintistanbul, held a total of two keynote speeches, six sessions and four commercial presentations on the first day. The paints and chemicals sectors showed strong participation in the congress, following sessions, presentations and speeches with interest. By the end of the first day, participants and visitors were able to review a total of 49 poster presentations at the poster presentation area. With the motto "Towards a Smart and Sustainable Future," the congress aims to shape the sector's future over two days with topics including innovation, sustainability, functionality, digitalization and artificial intelligence. Leading Paint Industry Figures Meet in "Sustainable Innovation Approaches in the Paint Sector" Panel On the second day of the event, the congress will conclude with a panel titled "Sustainable Innovation Approaches in the Paint Sector," to be moderated by DYO Construction Paints Technical Factory Director Hasan Şerefhan. At the panel, Kayalar Kimya Management Board Chairman Ersin Kenan Kayalar, DYO Paint Factories General Manager Mutlu Uysal, BASF Türk General Manager Tolga Demirözü, Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center Board Member Prof. Dr. Yusuf Menceloğlu, and Eva Consulting Founding Partner Dr. Engin Çörüşlü will evaluate all aspects of issues concerning the future of the paint sector.
