With this step, the company is advancing its commitments on gender equality and women's empowerment while aiming to accelerate its efforts within the company to empower women.
Kimpur, adopting a vision aimed at achieving gender equality in society and business, continues its work in various areas. The company pursues various strategies with the aim of spreading gender equality widely within the workforce, raising awareness, supporting women's career development, increasing employment rates, and ensuring gender equality in leadership positions.
In this direction, the company has officially signed WEPs and continues its efforts to support female employees and strengthen the principle of equality in the workplace by putting this commitment into practice.
The company takes an important step on gender equality, committing to the 7 principles of the Women's Empowerment Principles and demonstrates its determination to shape company policies in line with this vision. It proves this commitment with a 38 percent share of women in white-collar positions and 30 percent in management positions, both above Turkey's average.
Kimpur Chief Executive Officer Cavidan Karaca, who stated that they became signatories to the Women's Empowerment Principles with the aim of supporting women's empowerment in working life and taking an active role for gender equality, continued his remarks as follows:

Kimpur makes a series of commitments to support women's more active participation in social life, combat gender inequality and prevent violence against women. The company contributes to efforts to create social change in combating domestic violence by joining the Business Against Domestic Violence Network (BADV Network), established under the hosting of TÜSİAD with support from UNFPA and Sabancı Foundation. The BADV Project guides companies in developing policies to combat domestic violence, bringing together companies working to promote gender equality and safe work environments. Kimpur, which supports many projects aimed at benefiting society, makes efforts not only for its female employees but also for women in need of support in society. In order to meet the urgent needs of women affected by earthquakes in the country and support them in rebuilding their lives, Kimpur provided assistance on International Women's Day on 8 March in cooperation with the Women's Labor Appreciation Foundation (KEDV) on behalf of its female employees. Additionally, Kimpur organized special training titled "Role Confusion in Women" for female employees, aiming to increase the awareness of female employees in their current roles as workers, spouses, women and mothers.
