About the paintistanbul & Turkcoat 2021 Virtual Congress

paintistanbul & Turkcoat 2021 Congress on Organic Coatings, Polymers and Related Materials will be held on 8-9 December 2021. Unlike previous congresses, this congress will unfortunately not be held in person, but will take place in a virtual environment, online. As we announced previously, the paintistanbul & Turkcoat 2020 congress, which was scheduled to take place in March 2020, had to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic that emerged just before the congress date. Since then, we have carefully monitored the risks created by the pandemic. In the current situation, due to travel restrictions and difficulties that may be encountered in implementing protective measures in the congress environment, we concluded that holding an in-person congress this year and in 2022 may not be appropriate. As a result, we have decided to hold the paintistanbul & Turkcoat 2021 Congress on Organic Coatings, Polymers and Related Materials in a virtual environment on 8-9 December 2021. As in previous congresses, we aimed to create an environment where scientists, researchers, technical staff and students from academia and industry can present their research on organic coatings, polymers and related raw materials, and papers reflecting current technological knowledge on the subject. As in previous congresses, we are also calling Chemistry and Chemical Engineering students to participate in the congress and gain knowledge about paint science and technology. At the virtual congress, we plan to implement the program we prepared for the congress in March 2020 as is. Due to some understandable necessities, we need to make certain changes to the program. We plan to announce the paintistanbul & Turkcoat 2021 virtual congress program during the first week of November. On the other hand, the paintistanbul & Turkcoat Fair, another event jointly prepared by Bosad and Artkim, is planned to be held in person on 17-19 March 2022. For the first time this year, these two events will not be able to take place on consecutive days due to the coronavirus pandemic.
