PAINTEXPO EURASIA 2019 and SURTECH EURASIA 2019 Fair Opens

PAINTEXPO EURASIA 2019 and SURTECH EURASIA 2019 opened at Istanbul Convention & Exhibition Centre with the participation of İKMİB Board Member Ahmet Faik Bitlis, İKMİB Board Advisor Necmi Sağdıkoğlu, General Galvanizers Association (GALDER) Deputy Chairman Bünyamin Halaç, General Galvanizers Association (GALDER) General Secretary Burcu Akman and VIG Makine Board Chairman Vedat Güngören. At the opening ceremony, which drew significant attention from press representatives and fair participants, İKMİB Board Member Ahmet Faik Bitlis expressed his wishes for the success of the fair, and PaintExpo Eurasia 2019 and Surtech Eurasia 2019 opened their doors to international visitors.

Key figures from the sector attended the opening of PAINTEXPO EURASIA 2019, the Eurasian edition of PaintExpo, the world's leading Industrial Coating Technologies Fair, and SURTECH EURASIA 2019, the International Surface Treatment and Galvanizing Technologies Fair.

Over three days, the fair brings together leading companies from two sectors of significant importance to the country's economy, important sectoral associations, managers from official institutions and chambers of commerce, purchasing delegations from various countries, and domestic and foreign visitors at Istanbul Convention & Exhibition Centre. The flawless exterior appearance of an automobile, the color of a mobile phone that fascinates us, the plates and pans on which delicious food is served, aircraft and trains capable of reaching breathtaking speeds… Products that are present in every aspect of our lives and make our lives easier actually achieve their final form through surface treatment and industrial coating technologies and applications. This added value, resulting in a more beautiful appearance and functional use of the same product, gives life to brands and creates products that become part of us. Today, industrial coating technologies that touch every aspect of life primarily serve many sectors ranging from automotive industry suppliers to railways, from the aerospace sector to the white goods sector.

In the use and application of surface treatment and industrial coating technologies, new developments occur every day in the world and in Turkey.

With this information in mind, to monitor the pulse of current sector developments and new technologies, to lead the sector's progress by enabling new agreements and collaborations, PAINTEXPO EURASIA (5th International Industrial Coating Technologies Fair) and SURTECH EURASIA (4th International Surface Treatment, Galvanizing Chemicals and Technologies Fair) will bring together participants and visitors from many different parts of the world at Istanbul Convention & Exhibition Centre in November. The fairs are expected to attract participation from over 100 international-scale participating companies that set the direction of the sector from over 20 countries and over 5,000 domestic and foreign visitors from Turkey, the Middle East, the Balkans and Turkic Republics. PAINTEXPO EURASIA 2019 is supported by the Aluminium Surface Treatment Association (AYİD) and the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, while SURTECH EURASIA 2019 is organized with the support of the General Galvanizers Association (GALDER). The surface treatment technologies and industrial coating technologies sectors are among the most promising sectors in Turkey's national technology initiative for increasing exports and achieving global brand goals. The surface treatment and industrial coating technologies sectors, which provide characteristics such as smoothness, durability and eye-catching appeal that are important factors in determining the price of many products produced for final consumption and increasing their appeal to consumers, particularly enable flawless operation of sensor technologies.
