PaintExpo 2020 to Take Place in Germany in October

Coronavirus pandemic impact easing means the trade fair sector is regaining momentum. All signs point positively for PaintExpo, the world's leading industrial coatings technology fair. The fair is expected to take place at the Karlsruhe exhibition center between 12-15 October 2020, with more than 500 national and international exhibitors. Maximum security for participants and visitors will be ensured through a comprehensive hygiene concept. Jürgen Haußmann, General Manager of FairFair GmbH, the fair's organizer: "Due to the postponement from April to October, some exhibitors had to cancel their participation due to scheduling conflicts. However, we will still have more than 500 exhibitors from both domestic and international markets," he says, adding "We are naturally very pleased that participants and visitors can now plan with confidence again." All preparations within the fair team appear complete. Messe Karlsruhe, together with competent state and local authorities, has developed a comprehensive hygiene and security concept for both exhibitors and visitors that is flexible and can be adapted to prevailing conditions at any time, providing maximum health protection.

Jürgen Haußmann explains: "For example, through this concept, even on the busiest days, at least four square meters of free space per visitor will be ensured."

Another measure is that only online tickets and entry vouchers will be permitted. Haußmann states: "Ticket sales at the counter have been discontinued for security reasons." In addition to these, many other precautions will be implemented as part of this concept. Every conceivable product and service in wet coating, powder coating and coil coating process chains will be presented at this fair through the exhibitors' own product and service ranges. The fair will also focus on numerous different topics including digital transformation, automation and simplified robot programming, improving energy and resource efficiency, and even surface metallization. Enterprises from all sectors that perform coating work both in-house and as contract manufacturers will have the opportunity to learn about new developments, trends and technologies regarding the coating of components made from all types of materials and all types of surfaces through this fair.
