"I Believe This Will Accelerate the Momentum of Our Sectors"
Artkim Fuarcılığı General Manager Cengiz Yaman commented on the fairs. Yaman stated: "As these were the first fairs held specifically for our sectors since the pandemic, participation was very strong and we hosted more than 4,000 visitors. Likewise, we received strong participation from companies. We had a fair where we were quite satisfied with both visitor and company participation numbers. Furthermore, hundreds of business partnerships were signed at our fairs. In this regard, I can confidently say that this was a very successful fair from the perspective of sector professionals. I believe that the business partnerships concluded at our fairs will accelerate the momentum of our sectors, which have maintained their export and production success even under the most challenging conditions of the pandemic. We believe we will see the positive effects of this momentum in our country's economy, employment, and exports," he said.Virtual Fairs Will Host Thousands of Visitors
Noting that they have moved their fairs to the virtual world along with the pandemic, Yaman also emphasized that they have adapted to the sector's new dynamics. Stating that the fairs will continue virtually for three months, Yaman said: "We believe that our virtual fairs, where we have removed time and space constraints, will have heavy visitor traffic just like our physical fairs and will host thousands of visitors. With our virtual fairs that will also host online visits, meetings and panels, sector professionals at different points around the world will be able to find solution partners 24 hours a day, 7 days a week," he added. The fairs showcased surface treatment and galvanizing chemicals, equipment, mechanical finishing, electroplating, liquid and powder paints, coating equipment and systems, coating applications and spray guns, conveyor systems, surface cleaning products and services, and the latest innovations in the sector. As part of the fair, conferences attended by academics and sector representatives were held. These conferences featured panels on Environmentally Friendly Coating Facilities and Recycling Technology, Zinc-Based Alloy Coatings for Corrosion Protection and Sectoral Trends, Digitalization and Automatic Control in Industrial Coating Facilities.Advertisement
