PAGDER&ASLAN OSB to Become New Investment Destination

Central government pointed once again outside Istanbul for industrialists. Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Faruk Özlü stated that they would relocate industrial sites remaining within the city to outside Istanbul and provide credit support to industrialists at 3 percent interest for relocation. Following Minister Özlü's statement, PAGDER&ASLAN Plastics Specialized Organized Industrial Zone Chairman Fidan Aslan Eroğlu noted that they offer industrialists nearly free-of-charge land allocation and approximately 30 percent cheaper energy opportunities, inviting industrialists wishing to relocate outside Istanbul to Vize.

Noting that the strategy of relocating industrial facilities outside Istanbul has been on the agenda for some time, Fidan Aslan Eroğlu stated that plastic industrialists are predominantly scattered and squeezed into small areas under difficult conditions across many districts of the city, mainly in Bayrampaşa and İkitelli.

Emphasizing that this unfavorable working environment represents the biggest bottleneck for plastic industrialists looking to develop and grow, Eroğlu stated that as PAGDER&ASLAN Plastics Specialized Organized Industrial Zone they offer investors attractive opportunities. PAGDER&ASLAN Plastics Specialized Organized Industrial Zone is set to become operational in Vize, Kırklareli. Holding a special position as Turkey's first and only plastics specialized organized industrial zone, PAOSB provides infrastructure facilities designed according to industrialists' needs, investment incentives reaching up to 40 percent thanks to its specialized OIZ status, and offers a new and modern production area to the plastics sector. Moreover, industrialists locating in PAOSB will use energy 30 percent cheaper compared to Istanbul. In line with the strategy of relocating industrial facilities outside Istanbul, PAGDER&ASLAN Plastics Specialized OIZ Board Chairman Fidan Aslan Eroğlu, noting that plastic industrialists squeezed into Istanbul are redirecting their operations to Vize, stated: "We are offering our participants a profitable investment opportunity, benefiting from all the advantages of being a specialized OIZ.
