PAGDER Continues to Support Education

Plastics Manufacturers Association (PAGDER) is strengthening the infrastructure of the Plastics Technology Department at İnönü Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. PAGDER, a civil society organization supporting the School-Industry Cooperation project among NGOs, has donated machinery and equipment valued at over TRY 1,000,000 to the school in recent years and provided support for students to receive training with state-of-the-art production equipment. Following donations of injection molding machines, extrusion lines, shredding machines, molds, raw materials and machine oil, PAGDER is now donating a robot to enable students to familiarize themselves with technologies that will be widely used in their professional careers after graduation. Speaking at a ceremony held at İnönü Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School on Thursday, 16 May 2019, PAGDER Chairman Selçuk Gülsün expressed his thanks to Enelkon Otomasyon A.Ş. and Hürmak Plastik A.Ş. for their contribution to the robot donation and to Ceylan Makine Kalıp for the mold donation. Continuing his remarks, "At a time when Industry 4.0 is being discussed, young people who will be the workforce of the future need to develop themselves in the field of automation. When viewed from this perspective, the importance of this donation we are making today will become clearer," Gülsün said, adding that PAGDER will continue its donations to education without pause to meet the country's need for qualified personnel and that job opportunities are waiting for school graduates.
