NG Kütahya Seramik Receives Italian Technology Ambassador Award at TECNAwards 2026

NG Kütahya Seramik has been honored with an international award for its advanced technology investments in the ceramics industry. The company received the “Italian Technology Ambassador” award at TECNAwards 2026, held in Rimini, Italy on September 23, 2026.

The award demonstrated that NG Kütahya Seramik's emphasis on advanced technology investments has been recognized by the international ceramics sector, while also showcasing the collaboration the company has developed with the Italian technology ecosystem.

Technology investments awarded on the international stage

NG Kütahya Seramik was honored at TECNAwards 2026, held as part of the TECNA 2026 Fair, which took place concurrently with Cersaie 2026 in Italy between September 21-25, 2026.

TECNA 2026, held at the Rimini Expo Centre between September 22-25, brought together industry professionals around developments in ceramic production technologies, machinery, processes, and surface technologies.

As part of TECNAwards, technological investments made during the 2024-2026 period were evaluated, and NG Kütahya Seramik became the recipient of the “Italian Technology Ambassador” award.

It was noted that with this award, the company demonstrated on the international platform its long-term collaborations developed with Italian technology manufacturers and its advanced technology-focused production approach.

Erkan Güral assessed the future of the ceramics industry

At the round table meeting held as part of TECNAwards 2026, the future of the ceramics industry and transformation in global markets were discussed.

NG Kütahya Seramik Chairman of the Board Erkan Güral and his son Umut Güral also participated in the session, moderated by Paola Giacomini of Ceramic World Review.

In the session, Erkan Güral shared his assessments regarding NG Kütahya Seramik's vision for the future within the framework of the current position of the Turkish ceramics industry and developments in global markets. Güral also conveyed his views on the company's new investments, digitalization efforts, and sustainable production approach.
