MSD Türkiye Wins Award in Innovation Category

MSD Turkey reaffirmed its leadership in innovation by winning the Innovation Award in the "IAmChamPion Awards" program organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Turkey (AmCham Turkey)! MSD Turkey, operating under the vision of "Discovering for Life," closed 2020 with an award. MSD Turkey was recognized by the jury in the "Innovation" category in the "IAmChamPion Awards" program organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Turkey (AmCham Turkey). MSD Turkey was deemed worthy of the "Innovation Application Contributing Most to Turkey" Award for its 58 clinical studies conducted across 81 centers, receiving the award at an online ceremony held on 18 December. Renan Özyerli, who received the award on behalf of MSD Turkey, stated that they were excited about winning the award, saying: "In such a challenging year when the entire world was waiting for a Covid-19 vaccine to be found, we are very pleased to receive an award in the field of clinical research. MSD Turkey is among the leaders in clinical research in our country. We have many studies not only in infectious diseases but also in oncology. With our work, we are also setting an example for the world. In our Clinical Research Department, 135 colleagues who graduated from Turkey's leading universities are working. Our colleagues put in serious effort every day to carry out these research projects. We thank the jury for considering us worthy of this award, and at the same time I congratulate our team colleagues at MSD Turkey." Within the scope of this year's program, the jury awarded an "Honorary Award" along with awards in 12 different categories. The "IAmChamPion Awards" program is organized by AmCham Turkey, which was founded in 2004 with the aim of further developing bilateral trade and investment between Turkey and the United States. The awards organization, which has been held since 2019, highlights the work of companies and business people who inspire with their success, vision and leadership.
