National Swimmers Add Another Achievement to Their Record

Abdi İbrahim's sponsored record-breaking national swimmers Merve Tuncel and Emre Sakcı added another success to their achievements. Tuncel claimed 8 medals including 3 gold, while Sakcı won 8 gold medals, 4 of them individual. Sakcı also set a Turkey record in the 100-metre medley with a time of 51.14 seconds. At the Turkey Arena Inter-Club Short Course Youth, Junior and Open Age Swimming Championship, Tuncel won gold in the 1500m, 800m and 400m freestyle in the junior category, silver in the 200m freestyle, and silver in the 1500m, 800m and 400m freestyle in the open age category, plus bronze in the 200m freestyle. Sakcı took 8 gold medals in the 50m and 100m breaststroke, 100m medley, 50m freestyle, 4x50m medley and freestyle relay, and 4x100m medley and freestyle relay. Emre Sakcı also set a Turkey record in the 100-metre medley, adding another record to his achievements. Both athletes made their mark on the championship.
