MG International Sheds Light on the Sector's Future at Cosmetics Congress

The International Cosmetics Congress, organized for the ninth time by the Cosmetics Manufacturers and Researchers Association (KÜAD) this year under the theme "Holistic Cosmetics," brought together all stakeholders of the cosmetics industry. International fragrance manufacturer MG International Fragrance Company brought together sector professionals, academics and innovative brands at the congress, which ranks among the cosmetics sector's most prestigious events. At the congress, which hosted over 900 participants, more than 50 presentations and over 50 papers addressing the scientific, sustainable and innovative aspects of the sector were shared. With its scientific content, sectoral panels and structure creating ground for collaborations, the congress became an important meeting point regarding the sector's future.
MG International, which undertook the gala evening and session sponsorship of the congress, was positioned not merely as a supporting brand within the event scope, but as a strong stakeholder contributing to sectoral knowledge production.

MG International Fragrance Company Assistant General Manager Bülent Konca moderated a special session addressing next-generation consumer preferences and market dynamics. In the session moderated by Konca, who recently assumed the position of KÜAD Board Vice Chair again, experienced figures in marketing and retail including NielsenIQ Customer Group Manager Merve Gökmen, NielsenIQ Sales Partner Pınar Köseoğlu, Digital Advice Lab Founder Berk Kuşaksız and Watsons Turkey Trade and Marketing Director Cem Demirköz participated as speakers. The session comprehensively addressed cosmetics sector forecasts for 2026, digitalization, changing retail dynamics and data-driven approaches.
In his assessments regarding the congress, Bülent Konca drew attention to the importance of such organizations that contribute to the cosmetics sector's development and encourage knowledge sharing. In the heavily followed session, key topics shaping the sector's future such as sustainability, innovation and changing consumer expectations were evaluated from strategic perspectives.
