Vocational High Schools Exported TRY 2.75 Million Worth of Goods

Vocational High Schools Generated TRY 2.75 Million in Exports In just 11 months, vocational high schools signed export agreements worth TRY 2 million 750 thousand with 5 different countries. Steps taken in vocational and technical education toward developing students' practical skills and legislative changes implemented have yielded results. Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated in his assessment on the matter that work continues on commercializing products that have received certification in vocational education.

Pointing out that vocational high schools have begun exporting these commercialized products, Özer continued as follows:

"Our vocational high schools are working to expand their position in the world market by adding new countries to their export portfolio. In this context, the number of countries with which vocational high schools have signed export agreements has risen to 5: France, Romania, Iraq, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia. The total value of export agreements concluded with these countries reached TRY 2 million 754 thousand. Among the exported products, electrical electronics experiment kits, shawls, iron doors, oven systems, and chemistry and cleaning products stood out. Our students learn by doing, participating in all stages of production, and they are developing into individuals who contribute to the country's economy. We are proud of our schools and students."
