DYO Participates in COP27 as a Speaker

DYO Participated as Speaker at COP'27 DYO, as a special guest of the T.C. Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, participated as a speaker at COP'27, which invites all countries and institutions worldwide to be part of the solution in combating the climate crisis, at an event titled "Clean Production Practices in Turkish Industry". DYO participated as a speaker at the 27th Conference of the Parties (COP'27), which invites all countries worldwide to be part of the solution in combating the climate crisis and aims to mobilize countries and institutions for the implementation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC) and the Paris Climate Agreement.

A Sector Leader with Science-Based Approach

Hasan Şerefhan, Technical Plant Director of Construction Paints at DYO Boya Factories, representing DYO Paint and one of three companies invited as speakers by the T.C. Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, took the floor as a speaker at the event titled "Clean Production Practices in Turkish Industry" at COP'27, where participation of over 40,000 delegates from approximately 190 countries, more than 100 state leaders and policymakers is expected. In his remarks, he provided information on DYO's sustainability approach, priorities, sustainable innovation approach, sustainable product and packaging initiatives, greenhouse gas reduction projects, water and energy management practices, and clean production techniques applied at DYO Boya Factories. COP'27, held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, will continue until 18 November 2022 with thematic sessions organized daily under the headings of finance, science, youth and future generations, decarbonization, adaptation and agriculture, gender, water, civil society, energy, biodiversity and solutions.
