L'Oréal for Youth L'Oréal Turkey, drawing strength and energy from youth, continues to invest in young people and support them in shaping their careers as an organization that believes in youth through the "L'Oréal for Youth" project. The company is implementing the "L'Oréal for Youth Education Programme" and "L'Oréal for Youth Mentoring Programme" within the project scope.

L'Oréal for Youth Education Programme

The "L'Oréal for Youth Education Programme," which spans one semester, provides students with opportunities to receive training on their personal and professional development, listen to inspiring talks from L'Oréal Turkey leaders, gain knowledge about global trends, and become better acquainted with departments. The education programme, which will involve approximately 100 students, takes place in the form of an education series that progresses in parallel with an academic term. The programme features training and speaker sessions held every two weeks in the categories of Personal Development, Technical Development, Industry Perspective, and Inspirational Talks. The programme, which will run until July, will include students in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th years of university. The education programme, launched to support students, especially those without equal access to opportunities, in shaping their futures and contributing to their personal and professional development, will have some sessions open to all students.

L'Oréal for Youth Mentoring Programme

The "L'Oréal for Youth Mentoring Programme" aims to help students understand themselves better, uncover their awareness and potential. Selected students will meet with mentors from different teams at L'Oréal Turkey who have different career stories over a 6-month period; while discovering themselves, they will receive support in choosing appropriate goals and fields, reveal their strengths, and take important steps in shaping their futures. The mentoring programme consists of 29 professionals working at L'Oréal Turkey and 30 students in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th years of university who receive mentoring support from them. The programme aims to support students through monthly discussions conducted by mentors and students in discovering themselves and identifying their development areas, and to help them shape the steps they will take in their career journeys.

L'Oréal Turkey Human Resources Director Demet Akman, stating that they are providing young people with an important career start opportunity through the programmes they have developed: "L'Oréal for Youth is a comprehensive education and development project. It is of great importance that young people preparing to enter professional life gain different experiences and become familiar with the sector they are interested in. We provide various opportunities for young people studying at university and wishing to gain skills before entering the business world to learn and develop their professional competencies. Through both our programmes, young people discover themselves, reveal their strengths and potential. For us, the greatest happiness is being able to accompany young people on their journey to design their futures," he said.
