Limak Çimento's Anka Plant Receives CSC Platinum Certification

Limak Çimento's Anka Plant awarded Platinum Certificate by Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC), the cement industry's leading sustainability platform.

Following a comprehensive assessment process, Anka Plant became Turkey's first and only integrated cement facility to receive CSC Platinum certification for responsible resource use in concrete and supply chain.

Anka Plant, operated by Limak Çimento, a leading company in Turkey's cement sector, has been awarded Platinum Certificate by Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC), the industry's prominent sustainability assessment platform. Anka Plant is Turkey's first and only integrated cement facility to qualify for this certification.

Limak Çimento Anka Plant, among the most sustainable and technologically advanced facilities in the cement sector, achieved a success rate of 95.2 out of 100 in CSC's evaluation and qualified for Platinum certification. The facility, which underwent comprehensive and rigorous assessments across four main categories—management, environment, social and economic—was deemed worthy of Platinum certification as of 1 October 2025, thereby documenting its high performance in sustainability against international standards.

Globally, only 10 cement production facilities hold CSC Platinum certification, while at the corporate level, only three organizations hold this distinction.

CSC promotes sustainability in the cement industry
CSC is an international certification system that independently and transparently evaluates the sustainability performance of concrete, aggregate and cement producers, rigorously measuring and documenting the practices of cement manufacturers. This system promotes sustainable production in the cement sector while aiming to raise the transparency and credibility levels of the industry and standardize sustainability criteria throughout the supply chain.
