Specialty Trade Shows for Cosmetics, Food and Pharmaceutical Sectors Draw Strong Interest The specialty trade shows Food & Nutritional Ingredients, Cosmetics & Home Care Ingredients, and Pharmaist—which host the latest developments and innovations worldwide and in Turkey regarding cosmetics, food and pharmaceuticals, sectors among Turkey's most important export stars—concluded with hundreds of domestic and international brands directing their commercial activities. Artkim Fairs, which plays an important role in the growth of the Turkish Chemical Industry through numerous national and international projects aimed at the chemistry and its sub-sectors, brought together three sectors with a volume of billions of dollars on 25-27 May at Istanbul Fair Centre. Opening simultaneously; Cosmetics & Home Care Ingredients (CHCI), Pharmaist 2022 and "Food & Nutritional Ingredients" trade shows attracted intense participation and visitor interest from both domestic and foreign sources. Particularly for domestic brands, the trade shows, which offered numerous opportunities in terms of reaching their products to domestic and foreign markets, were observed to create significant commercial activity by increasing export volume.

Our country's leadership is invaluable

Speaking at the opening of the trade shows, Artkim Group CEO Cengiz Yaman said "In the sectors represented by these trade shows that bring together all industry professionals, our country's leadership is at a very valuable level. Our production and export potential is an indicator of our strength in these areas worldwide. The increasing interest in specialty trade shows each passing day, which play an important role in enabling companies operating in the relevant sectors in our country to establish new business connections and enter new markets, provides us with the motivation to continue advancing our efforts one step further."
Business world's borderless women convened at "Women in Life"
Alongside the specialty trade shows, inspiring figures such as Duygu Beşbıçak (Corporate Communications Manager at MG Fragrance), Çiğdem Kurdoğlu Yasa (General Manager of Aroma and Essence at Givaudan) and Dr. Gülşah Gedik (Faculty Member at Trakya University School of Pharmacy) met with participants at the "Women in Life" events, where powerful and successful women from their sectors shared their success stories.
Cosmetics sector, a steadily growing export star, takes the stage at CHCI 2022
CHCI, Turkey's first and only cosmetics and home care ingredients trade show, rapidly developing in the cosmetics and cleaning products sector, continued its mission of serving as an important bridge between producers and buyers by hosting many domestic and foreign companies in 2022. According to data from the İKMİB sector report, in the first half of 2021, the Turkish cosmetics products industry achieved exports of USD 656.2 million, representing a 13.09% increase compared to the same period of the previous year, exporting to nearly 200 countries. Particularly thanks to Turkey's proximity to Iran and the Middle East, targets aimed at increasing export volume to these markets have greatly increased interest in specialty trade shows, which play an important role in enabling companies operating in the cosmetics and home care products sector in Turkey to establish new business connections and enter new markets. The "International Cosmetics, Personal Care, Detergent and Home Care Products Components, Raw Materials and Technologies Trade Show" Cosmetics & Home Care Ingredients (CHCI), held for the fifth time this year, enriched the trade show experience with numerous innovations in 2022. In addition to the three-day rich conference and panel program, the trade show provided participants with different experiences through the 'Fragrance and Taste Workshop' with workshops and training sessions conducted by perfumers and fragrance specialists on perfume-making techniques.

Over the three days, conferences lasting 30 minutes each were delivered by various companies featuring topics such as "Consumer perception and interest in new food and beverage products" and "Packaging that changes standards." In the panel where questions about cultivated meat were discussed, gains and losses in cultivated meat technology and the effects of cultivated meat on the red meat sector were discussed.
Physical and virtual trade show experience combined
Trade shows, environments that enable high-volume business collaboration focused on domestic and foreign markets, have transformed into more global events where the same functions are transferred to the virtual environment, independent of time and space limitations. Pioneering the digital transformation occurring in the trade show sector through strong investments, Artkim Fairs, through the digital solutions it developed, aims to provide long-term communication opportunities and high brand visibility for companies and to eliminate the disadvantage of limited time and space for visitors. After the physical trade shows that ended on 27 May, the trade shows will continue to host visitors in the virtual world for 3 months. Through the mobile application developed by Artkim, participants will be able to download allArtkim to their mobile devices to access trade show information, view company and event details and send meeting requests.   http://www.chcistanbul.com http://www.pharmaist.net http://www.fningredients.com
