Kordsa Launches New Production Line to Add Value to Infrastructure Projects

Kordsa laid the foundation for a polypropylene monofilament fiber reinforcement line in its Izmit plant in December 2017 for the structural reinforcement sector. The line commenced production in June 2018. With this new investment in construction reinforcement technologies, Kordsa not only increases production capacity but also expands its product range. Since 2014, Kordsa has made its mark in the construction market with innovative macro and micro synthetic fiber reinforcements that provide ease of use, rapid application, reduced labor requirements, improved equipment and energy efficiency, enhanced concrete toughness, long-term durability and low carbon emissions for concrete reinforcement applications in construction projects. With its new investment, Kordsa aims for the newly produced product to deliver sustainability and performance advantages, while offering cost benefits through efficient dosage utilization, particularly positioning it as a superior product for infrastructure projects.
