Kocaeli Chamber of Industry Postpones Date of 3rd Process Safety Symposium

Due to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic affecting the world and our country, the 3rd Process Safety Symposium, organized under the coordination of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry and by Chem Media Events, has been postponed from 2-3 June 2020 to 17-18 November 2020, following a joint evaluation by participants, visitors and executive board members.

Purpose: Safe Production and Environmental Protection

Given the significant share of industry in Turkey's economic activities and Kocaeli's 51 percent share in this sector, the province hosts heavy and hazardous industries. Since the start of industrial operations, significant measures have been taken to protect the region's residents and the environment. In line with this vision, the 3rd Process Safety Symposium, organized under the coordination of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry and by Chem Media Events in IT Valley, is being arranged to support the development of industrial facilities in the region, ensure sustainable and healthy production, and minimize risks during manufacturing. The 3rd Process Safety Symposium will focus on the SEVESO III Directive, ATEX Directive, Pressure Equipment/Apparatus, CLP Regulation/SEA Directive, REACH Regulation/KKDIK Regulation and the Effects of Digital Transformation in Industry on Process Safety.
