Chemical Industry Leaders' Fair Draws Large Crowd of Visitors

Putech Eurasia, Eurasian Composites Show, Foam Eurasia, and Adhesives&Bonding Eurasia welcomed approximately 1,500 visitors on their opening day. Organized by Artkim Fuarcılık and opening on 25 November at Istanbul Fair Centre, the Putech Eurasia, Eurasian Composites Show, Foam Eurasia, and Adhesives &Bonding Eurasia trade fairs brought together leading brands from Turkey's chemical sector with industry professionals from around the world. The trade fairs, which welcomed approximately 1,500 visitors on the first day and hosted numerous panels and conferences, saw dozens of business partnerships established. Running physically until 27 November and virtually for three months, the fairs aim to welcome over 6,000 visitors from hundreds of companies. Adhesives & Bonding Eurasia and Foam Eurasia fairs will provide a fresh perspective to the sector.

Sector representatives convene

Opening simultaneously, the 7th International Polyurethane Industry Fair Putech Eurasia 2021 brings together polyurethane representatives, the 5th International Composite Raw Materials, Semi-finished Products, Products and Technologies Fair Eurasian Composites Show 2021 brings together composites representatives, the Technical Foam Industry and Technologies Fair Foam Eurasia brings together foam representatives, and the Adhesives and Bonding Technologies Fair Adhesives&Bonding Eurasia brings together adhesives and bonding industry representatives. At the fairs, which bring global chemistry sector expertise to Istanbul, new technologies, products and services that will impact the development of many fields including aviation, automotive, construction and healthcare will continue to be showcased until 27 November. The fairs will also feature panels and conferences with the participation of industry professionals and academics, monitoring sector developments. Panels and conferences addressing challenges and future expectations for the chemical sector will be broadcast live on Turkchem TV Youtube channel.  

Sector representative trade fairs will facilitate new partnerships

In her opening remarks, Artkim Fuarcılık Group Sales Manager Yasemin Yıldırım emphasized that the fairs would bring together the right target audience as they do every year: "Over three days, our trade fairs will bring together polyurethane, foam, adhesives and composites sectors—among the most critical components of the chemical industry—and monitor sector developments. These fairs will facilitate new business collaborations, partnerships and even the development of new technologies. At our fairs, we aim to connect the latest technologies, services and products with hundreds of participants from many different countries and over 6,000 domestic and international visitors."

Yıldırım noted that Artkim Fuarcılık has brought 12 trade fairs to the chemical sector since its establishment, and added: "This year, with Foam Eurasia and Adhesives&Bonding Eurasia—the first of their kind in Turkey—opening their doors for the first time, we have brought a fresh perspective and new vision to the sector.
