Recently, DuPont became aware that counterfeit worker coveralls bearing the TYVEK® brand, which pose a risk to worker safety and health and have no connection whatsoever to TYVEK®, have been offered for sale in Turkey.

It has also been learned that many chemical and pharmaceutical companies operating in the market have procured these products, unaware that they are counterfeit. Conscious of the value of its brand and the importance of human health and safety, DuPont has initiated the necessary legal procedures against those selling and producing these products. During raids conducted by Istanbul Police Department, thousands of counterfeit products have been seized. Counterfeit products not only infringe on DuPont's trademark rights but can also endanger worker health and safety, leading to irreparable accidents and losses. Both employees and employers bear responsibility for removing these counterfeit products, which pose risks, from the market. Public awareness and business cooperation are essential. In this regard, we caution employers against procuring products from unauthorized sellers and from sources of unknown origin.
