KAGİDER Has Delivered Lasting Change in Women's Lives Over the Past 5 Years

KAGİDER has demonstrated its social benefit capacity over the past 5 years with striking data. According to the "Social Return on Investment Impact and Qualitative Research Report," KAGİDER has created lasting transformation in women's lives through its projects across professional, social and emotional dimensions.

KAGİDER Chair Esra Bezircioğlu stated, "Every TRY 1 invested in KAGİDER projects generated TRY 4.80 in social benefit for stakeholders. We will continue to expand our multiplier effect across every corner of Anatolia."

The Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey (KAGİDER), which continues its activities to support women entrepreneurship in Turkey and strengthen gender equality, shared the findings of the "Social Return on Investment Impact and Qualitative Research Report," which measured the social impact of its activities covering the 2020–2025 period.

According to the research findings prepared using the Social Return on Investment method, the most widely used impact analysis framework in the world, every TRY 1 invested in KAGİDER projects during the 2020–2025 period generated TRY 4.80 in social benefit for stakeholders.

"KAGİDER'S MULTIPLIER EFFECT WILL CONTINUE TO GROW"
KAGİDER Board Chair Esra Bezircioğlu thanked all stakeholders who have been partners with KAGİDER to date, saying they have achieved social benefit together. Noting that the research report sheds light on the future, Bezircioğlu stated, "This report is not merely a summary of our past but a compass for our future. The fact that our Social Return on Investment ratio reaches 1:4.80 proves how high our capacity for generating social benefit is, and witnessing that 'courage' and 'sense of belonging' in women's lives is our greatest achievement reward. We will continue to expand and grow our multiplier effect across every corner of Anatolia."

Future-Oriented Inclusive Roadmap
Evaluating KAGİDER's strategic priorities for the coming period in line with the research findings, Bezircioğlu noted that the study is not merely an analysis measuring impact but also a strategic roadmap that holistically and sincerely presents the association's strengths along with areas for development. Stating that they will shape the future roadmap together with the report, Esra Bezircioğlu said: "As an association, in the coming period we aim to prioritize Anatolia-focused inclusive strategies, preserve institutional memory through a digital library to ensure knowledge sustainability, create opportunities for women entrepreneurship in different business sectors, and empower women through technology and artificial intelligence-focused content. We are open to public/private sector partnerships and all stakeholders in this regard."

Anatolia-Focused, Continuity-Based Future Vision
Noting that the research findings clearly shape KAGİDER's strategic orientation for the coming period, Bezircioğlu said they will place a more inclusive communication approach at the center, deepen Anatolia-focused strategies and structure interaction through micro-communities to ensure continuity. She stated they aim to monitor the on-ground impact of projects more closely through regular feedback and follow-up mechanisms.

Emphasizing that preservation of institutional memory, ensuring knowledge sustainability and strategic talent management are among the fundamental building blocks of the coming period, Bezircioğlu said this systematic approach will create a more lasting, widespread and measurable transformation in women's empowerment while expanding KAGİDER's current sphere of impact.

"Lasting Change" in Women's Lives
KAGİDER Board Member Gülin Yücel shared the research report details with members of the press. Noting that the impact created by KAGİDER is not limited to economic data alone, Gülin Yücel said the "KAGİDER Effect" deepens in three main areas in stakeholders' lives:

• Professional Change: Women entrepreneurs began managing business processes more consciously and think strategically; support and training from KAGİDER became a "source of approval and confidence" for entrepreneurs.
• Social Change: Contact established with women going through similar processes reduced the loneliness often felt in entrepreneurship. Being associated with KAGİDER provided prestige and reputation increases both at individual and institutional levels.
• Emotional Change: While confidence and courage increased in women touched by the association, the belief "I can do it too" emerged as the most prominent transformation.

Broad Impact Network from Young Women to Companies
Gülin Yücel conveyed that the research also proved KAGİDER's unique impacts on different stakeholder groups:

• Young Women: Through projects like "Future Women Leaders," awareness that "You are enough" was created among youth and confidence regarding the business world was built.
• Entrepreneur Women: Particularly among women from Anatolia, vision expansion and motivation to grow their businesses were provided.
• Corporate Partners: In companies receiving the Equal Opportunity Model (FEM) certificate, gender equality practices gained visibility while contributing to transformation of institutional culture.

Strong Brand Perception, Developing Inclusivity Areas
Noting that the research revealed KAGİDER is perceived externally as a strong, professional civil society organization with high reputation, KAGİDER Board Member Gülin Yücel said that from the perspective of stakeholders in contact with the association, it provides a sincere, supportive and trust-giving community experience.

She emphasized that the initial hesitation of 'how can I be part of KAGİDER' quickly changed as people became involved in KAGİDER projects; a strong sense of belonging, support and solidarity emerged, and participants had extremely positive experiences throughout the process. She noted these findings point to significant development potential in accessibility, inclusivity and project continuity areas.

Institutional Strength, Digital Memory and Impact Expansion Areas
Noting that assessments regarding project and human resources management revealed KAGİDER has strong content production capacity, a professional team and a broad network of volunteers and alumni, Yücel stated they will continue working on structural areas to deepen impact further.

In this context, she emphasized that digitalization of institutional memory, creation of a "KAGİDER Library," establishment of a strategic "Talent Pool," strengthening stakeholder segmentation and maintaining relationships with alumni in a more systematic manner are among the important steps that will increase KAGİDER's multiplier effect.
