Our Windsurfing Athlete Lena Erdil, Runner-Up in Japan, Competes in Korea
Lena Erdil, athlete sponsored by Okan University Hospital and successful representative of our country in windsurfing, traveled to Korea following Japan for the PWA World Windsurfing Championship.
Lena Erdil, whose health sponsor is Okan University Hospital, continues to make her name known to the world. Representing our country at the 2018 PWA World Windsurfing Championship held in Yokosuka, Japan, Lena Erdil finished second in the slalom event, placing behind Delphine Cousin Questel.
"I Want to Become Slalom World Champion"
Speaking after her result, Erdil said, "It was my first race after last year's injury and I had some doubts. I finished this race in second place. I am in good shape right now. There are two more races ahead. I want to finish first in South Korea and then in Portugal three weeks later to become Slalom World Champion."Races on 19–24 May
