What is scarless thyroidectomy?
This technique, which is widely used in surgical practice in the Far East, particularly in Thailand and South Korea, has been adopted and is becoming increasingly common in many advanced centers worldwide. In this technique, thyroid surgery is performed through the mouth, leaving no surgical scar in the neck area. However, like any new technique, before it becomes routine surgical practice, this complex endoscopic technique must be thoroughly learned and practiced, which is why training events are regularly organized at various centers around the world.
