ISKUR Visits Polat Makina

Rahmi Terzi, Provincial Director of Aydın Employment and Labour Agency (İŞKUR), visited Polat Makina and met with personnel employed under the "On-the-Job Training Programs"

During his visit to Polat Makina, Aydın Employment and Labour Agency (İŞKUR) Provincial Director Rahmi Terzi met with white-collar and blue-collar employees who have been trained or continue their training under the "On-the-Job Training Program" jointly conducted by İŞKUR and Polat Makina. Polat Makina General Manager L. Mutlu Şahan accompanied Rahmi Terzi during the visit and stated that they continue to grow alongside young employees and expressed great satisfaction at supplying qualified personnel to the sector thanks to the cooperation with İŞKUR. 

Rahmi Terzi met with 18 young engineers employed at Polat Makina under the program during 2024 and offered important advice regarding their professional careers. Terzi expressed satisfaction with Polat Makina's employment of young engineers and emphasized the significant importance of such programs in training and employing a qualified workforce. 

Polat Makina General Manager L. Mutlu Şahan emphasized that artificial intelligence tools are increasing productivity in nearly every sector today. Şahan stated, "We aim to enable our young colleagues to add value to Polat Makina by effectively using artificial intelligence tools. We take great satisfaction in training young people and supplying qualified personnel to the sector. In this direction, we continue our efforts to support their careers and make them into the qualified workers sought by the sector." 

Şahan accompanied Rahmi Terzi during a factory tour and introduced him to 17 operators whose training is ongoing under the "On-the-Job Training Program". Noting the shortage of experienced operators in the sector, Şahan expressed pride in meeting this need by training operators. He also provided Terzi with detailed information about Polat Makina's production processes and Supercritical Fluid Extraction Systems.

Polat Makina, one of the few companies in Turkey producing supercritical fluid extraction systems at industrial scale, enables the pharmaceutical, chemical and cosmetic sectors to obtain final products at high purity (up to 99%) with its supercritical fluid extraction systems. While using carbon dioxide gas as a solvent in an environmentally friendly approach, Polat Makina's systems make significant contributions to sustainable production processes.
