Savings Movement Begins with Isıcam
Şişecam has launched a new incentive campaign in response to rising energy costs and the revised TS 825 Thermal Insulation Standard for Buildings, which took effect on 1 April 2025, offering consumers who replace their existing glass with Isıcam S or Isıcam K gift vouchers at rates varying by square metre. Coated Isıcam, which reduces heat loss by up to 50% compared to ordinary double glazing, cuts heating costs in winter and air-conditioning costs in summer, delivering savings on utility bills.
Şişecam, responding to rising energy costs and the revised TS 825 Thermal Insulation Standard for Buildings coming into force on 1 April 2025, has launched a new incentive campaign offering gift vouchers to consumers who replace their existing windows with Isıcam S or Isıcam K, with voucher amounts varying by square metre. Coated Isıcam reduces heat loss by up to 50 per cent compared to ordinary double glazing, lowering heating costs in winter and air-conditioning expenses in summer, resulting in utility bill savings.

As the TS 825 Thermal Insulation Standard for Buildings makes energy efficiency in residential buildings mandatory rather than optional—both for new buildings and window replacement projects—Şişecam is incentivising consumers who replace their existing windows with high-performance insulating glasses Isıcam S or Isıcam K by offering gift vouchers. Under the campaign, consumers carrying out window replacement between 10–35 m² have the opportunity to earn gift vouchers in varying amounts per square metre.
Maximum Insulation with Isıcam K & Isıcam S, Lower Costs
Glass surfaces, which constitute 80–85 per cent of window area, are the most determining factor in thermal insulation. The TS 825 Thermal Insulation Standard for Buildings emphasises the necessity of using coated glass in both new buildings and renovation projects.
Isıcam K is manufactured with Şişecam's high-quality solar control and thermal control Solar Low-E coated glass, reducing winter heat loss by 50 per cent and summer solar heat gain by 40 per cent. Isıcam S is produced with Şişecam's high-quality thermal control Low-E coated glass and reduces heat loss by 50 per cent, lowering fuel consumption. The campaign enables architects, façade consultants, construction firms, window frame manufacturers and real estate consultants to comply with the new standard requirements, while also offering comfort to end consumers considering window replacement.
