Construction and Building Materials Sector Meets in Belgrade

Under the coordination of the Ministry of Commerce and organized by DAİB, a sectoral trade delegation for construction and building materials was conducted to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. A "Sectoral Trade Delegation" activity, indexed on B2B, company and market visits, brought together 19 representatives from producer-exporter companies operating in the construction and building materials sector from various provinces of Turkey, who held approximately 400 bilateral business meetings with over 100 Serbian companies. Within the context of the delegation, company representatives conducted institutional and site visits and visited the construction site of GTP Engineering, one of the main contractors of the Waterfront project under construction in Belgrade, where they had the opportunity to examine the quality and standards of construction materials used in Serbia on site. Subsequently, DAİB Chairman of the Board of Directors Ethem Tanrıver and the delegation accompanying him visited Ambassador to Belgrade Hami Aksoy and Commercial Advisor Yasemin Yüce, evaluating the investment and trade potential of Serbia.
