"Through the EYE project, we aim to equip our youth with necessary skills and increase their employment"

Stating his belief that empowering youth through education and practical skills is the foundation of a successful future, İMMİB Coordinator Chairman Adil Pelister emphasized the increasingly important role of digital marketing in foreign trade and continued as follows: "By training young people in this field, we are contributing to sustainable economic growth while supporting them in gaining competitive advantage in global markets and increasing our country's foreign trade potential. Through the EYE project, we aim to equip our youth with necessary skills and increase their employment. İMMİB, which has an extensive member network and is Turkey's leading exporters association, will offer new opportunities to our youth with the goal of realizing this potential. The project, which has quite significant and comprehensive objectives, will support 100 young people through comprehensive training covering digital marketing, foreign trade and soft skills. In this project where practical application is at the forefront, young people will have the opportunity to be matched with companies. Moreover, the establishment of a centre within Istanbul University is planned to serve young people in their career journeys. Through this structure, it is aimed to match supply and demand between the workforce and SMEs in the field of digital marketing. In this way, İMMİB will act as a bridge between academia and the business world, contributing to the development of competencies tailored to sector needs" he said. The project's activities are scheduled to officially begin as of 1 June 2023.
