As the İKMİB Pharmaceutical Committee, 2026 was launched with institution visits. During the visits conducted, the questions, problems and demands of companies engaged in exports were addressed comprehensively.
Pharmaceutical Committee Chair Ahmet Altuğ Oğuz and Committee Members Seda Ekşi Aşıcıoğlu, Sevim Öztaşkın and Orhan Mutlu Topal visited, respectively, Turkey Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK) Chair Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ayar, Turkish Ministry of Commerce Export General Director Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya, Product Safety and Inspection General Director Hakkı Karabörklü and Turkey Exporters Council (TİM) Ankara Representative Güner Gülyeşil.
In the meetings, mutual views were also exchanged on non-tariff barriers encountered in pharmaceutical exports to the European Union and the steps that need to be taken to overcome these barriers.
