Exporters Granted Priority Access to Vaccination
The request from exporters to prioritize covid-19 vaccination, which Jak Eskinazi, Coordinator President of Aegean Exporters Associations, raised recently, has been approved.
Over 10,000 exporters holding green passports were placed in the priority group for vaccination. Eskinazi expressed his gratitude for the swift implementation of their requests.
Noting that countries advancing in vaccination following the pandemic have launched vaccine passport applications, Aegean Exporters Associations Coordinator President Jak Eskinazi emphasized that prioritizing green passport holders among exporters in vaccination was the right step.
Providing information that Turkey is progressing steadily toward its export target of USD 200 billion for 2021, Eskinazi stated: "Globally, China, the United States and European countries have made considerable progress in vaccination. These countries have implemented vaccine passports. With higher vaccination rates, we can achieve our targets in international trade."
Aegean Exporters Associations Coordinator President Jak Eskinazi conveyed his gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca and Trade Minister Dr. Mehmet Muş for the decision providing priority vaccination to green passport holders among exporters.
