İGA Istanbul Airport, one of the world's most important global transfer hubs, achieved a major success within the scope of Cirium's "2025 On-Time Performance Review" report, which sets international aviation standards. Standing out for its operational discipline and sustainable growth strategy, İGA won the Airport Platinum Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the global aviation sector.

At the awards ceremony attended by İGA Istanbul Airport CEO Selahattin Bilgen and Cirium CEO Jeremy Bowen, İGA's historic records and increased operational efficiency achieved in 2025 were highlighted.

In the Cirium report, which emphasized İGA Istanbul Airport's consistent operational discipline despite high traffic volumes, the airport's success in managing heavy transfer traffic and large-scale operations was underscored.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, İGA Istanbul Airport CEO Selahattin Bilgen, drawing attention to the flawless coordination behind this success, said:

In 2025, we welcomed 84.3 million passengers and successfully managed 547,000 flights, breaking our historical records with a daily average of 1,707 flights. Cirium CEO Jeremy Bowen emphasized that the performance increase demonstrated by İGA Istanbul Airport represents a global success. Bowen made the following assessment:
