Huntsman Opens Polyurethane Systems Center in Dubai

Huntsman Corporation (NYSE: HUN) announced that it will open a new polyurethane systems center in Dubai. Thanks to the specialized facility located in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), Huntsman will increase polyurethane systems and polyester polyol production capacity and sales in the Middle East and North Africa region for customers in the region. The new systems center will consist of a production area equipped with the most advanced manufacturing equipment, mixers, reactors, filling stations, control room, offices and quality control laboratories. The facility will produce polyurethane foams used in construction, insulation, electrical appliances, bedding and furniture applications. Additionally, systems for the footwear industry will be produced, as well as coatings, adhesives, sealants and prepolymers for elastomer applications.
