Heubach Commissions New Facility for Anti-Corrosion Pigment Production in the U.S.

Heubach GmbH has completed and commissioned its corrosion protection pigment production facility near its Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) site in the United States. Using state-of-the-art technology, this facility increases the group's worldwide production capacity by approximately 4,000 tonnes. Birgit Genn, Executive Vice President of Heubach GmbH: "The establishment of the new production facility in the USA will permanently strengthen Heubach's position in the corrosion protection pigment market and is part of a comprehensive growth plan. In the first phase, the US facility will produce zinc phosphate as well as HEUCOPHOS® ZPA, HEUCOPHOS® ZPO and HEUCOPHOS® ZCP Plus. In the second phase, other products from our product portfolio will follow." In recent years, the Heubach group has continuously invested in the automation of production processes and the expansion of production capacities. The group will also implement additional investment projects at its locations in India and the United States to continue the expansion roadmap.
