Hayat Kimya and Kocaeli University Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

Hayat Kimya and Kocaeli University have signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The signing ceremony, held on Wednesday, 24 September at Kocaeli University BİLİMPARK, was attended by Hayat Holding Secretary General Osman Aksoy, Kocaeli University Rector Prof. Dr. Nuh Zafer Cantürk, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Elif Öğüt, Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Eren, Limaş Port Manager Dr. Kürşat Bal, and Hayat Kimya Corporate Communications Manager Ufuk Şahin.

An important protocol for developing university-industry cooperation was signed between Hayat Kimya, which operates in the fast-moving consumer goods sector with 16 strong brands such as Bingo, Molped, Molfix and Familia, and Kocaeli University. The cooperation agreement signed at Kocaeli University BILIМPARK on Wednesday, 24 September aims to create new opportunities in scientific research, R&D activities and training.
Under the signed agreement, both Hayat Kimya and Kocaeli University will work together in scientific and technological research and nationally and internationally funded projects; mutual use of infrastructure such as laboratories will be provided. In line with the protocol, Hayat Kimya will offer internship opportunities to Kocaeli University students within the company, while Kocaeli University will provide postgraduate education opportunities for Hayat Kimya employees.
Through the signed protocol, Kocaeli University will contribute to projects with its academic knowledge base, while Hayat Kimya will support education with its experience and strength in the sector. This strategic partnership bringing industry and academia together will increase the country's R&D and innovation capacity while contributing to professional development. Both parties will continue to work together for sustainable growth and innovative projects.
