**Senior Appointment at Hayat Holding**
Hayat Holding announced the appointment of Prof. Dr. Davut Kavranoğlu to the positions of Head of the Wood Group and General Manager of Kastamonu Entegre. Prof. Dr. Kavranoğlu, who has held senior positions in academia, public administration, the private sector and entrepreneurship, will steer Hayat Holding's investments in the wood group and lead Kastamonu Entegre, the global brand of the wood-based panel industry.
Hayat Holding announced the appointment of Prof. Dr. Davut Kavranoğlu to the positions of Chairman of the Forest Products Group and General Manager of Kastamonu Entegre. Prof. Dr. Kavranoğlu, who has held senior positions in academia, public administration, the private sector and entrepreneurship, will direct Hayat Holding's investments in the forest products group area and lead Kastamonu Entegre, the global brand in the wood-based panel sector.
A graduate of the Electronics and Communications Engineering Department of the Electrical-Electronics Faculty at Istanbul Technical University, Prof. Dr. Kavranoğlu continued his academic work in the United States. Kavranoğlu, who received his master's degree in 1986 and his doctorate in 1989 from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena, held important positions throughout his career.
Prof. Dr. Kavranoğlu has assumed roles including Deputy Minister of Science, Industry and Technology, Chief Advisor to the President (in the areas of Science, Technology, Education and Industry) and Chairman of the Board at San Francisco-based Geoxon, while also serving as Chairman of the Board of the Knowledge Economy Association.
In a statement from Hayat Holding, it was emphasized that Prof. Dr. Kavranoğlu's leadership experience, international vision and multifaceted expertise will contribute to the sustainable growth strategies of the Forest Products Group and Kastamonu Entegre.
